Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I love chinese but i rarely eat so when i do have it i fall in love again. So i was in uncharted land today so i saw CHINA WOK i keep it simple and get the lunch special general tso chicken ummm it was awesome soft with a little crisp just how i like it. ***LESSON OF THE DAY*** I was given a chicken lesson by a fellow yelper who will remain nameless she said that she likes her chicken fried hard or well done becasue she thinks that chicken cant be cooked in or under five mintues which made me think that wowo she could have a vaild point. S he also mentined how fast food is all about what?? SPEED so they can care less if your food is cooked as long as its out the door in a timely fashion....good lesson

HORRIBLE service and food. Super greasy and although cheap, the quality sucks. Golden Inn (right across the street) is reasonably priced and is cooked perfectly every time

Pretty good take out Chinese. It's convenient and close to home. I do like it better than the Chinese place across the street next to kmart. When I'm closer to wiregrass mall I like that one better that's across from the mall but this one closer to my home is pretty good too. There's less shrimp in the shrimp and mixed veggie and it's a dollar or two more but that's it. It's fine and gd for take out.

This is pretty decent Chinese if you're looking for hot, flavorful take out at a really fair price. All you have to do is walk in to know you're not going to be wowed by the service. Only a few uncomfortable plastic tables, a walk-up-style ordering system, and harsh fluorescent tube lighting are the key design features. I would be willing to bet at least 80% of their business is take out. And that's cool with us- they own it. They know their niche. They have one American chick who usually mans the register and phone. If she's not there, prepare yourself to conduct your transaction in monosyllabic grunts and half-words. There's a great Chinese place across the street that has ambiance and service, if that's what you're after... But their take-out and delivery suck. Think of these two restaurants as puzzle pieces. Together, these joints can service all the greasy, Asian cravings of the folks of LOL.

Good Chinese takeout. We've never had a bad meal, and it's always piping hot. Nothing remarkable, but it's close to home, and when I ask for something REALLY spicy, it's usually pretty spicy. Our family of 5 can eat dinner for under $40.

Love this Chinese place. We tend to eat here a few times a month. Ladies are nice (little difficult to understand sometimes) but nice and the food is always good, hot, and ample.

Been customers of China Wok on Collier Parkway for many many years and have always gotten great food and the owners are very friendly and accomodating . Some Chinese take out establishments are very strict on thier menus but here I have never made a change request like shrimp instead of chicken or chili sauce instead of curry and been turned away or told no we can't . They want you to be happy and they want you as loyal customers. Very rarely these days do you get that kind if service. Always hot, always fresh, and plenty to eat on your plate. I highly recommend this place.

This is THE most unfriendliest place with miserable people behind the counter that I've encountered since I moved here from NYC. And that's saying a lot. I'm use to rude from us City-folks, but this place acts like they don't want or need the business. Like my placing an order was an inconvenience (even tho I was reading from their menu!). The food isn't even that amazing! Everything is overcooked and greasy. This is why I go across the street to the Friendly place. Next time I'm in a bind, I will suck up the extra time and travel to Golden Inn where they are happy for your service. PS. If you are going to be rude, at least make sure your food is decent.

The food at china wok has been consistently good for the past decade. A long time take out restaurant in land o'lakes, china wok gives you great portions and tasty food every time. The house special Mai fun is one of my favorites - they add shrimp, chicken and pork to very fine rice noodles! So yummy. This is also one of he few Chinese take out restaurants that makes shrimp toast - one of my husbands favorite treats. If you get a chance, stop by and give them a try

Good food here, all of the entrees I've had have been pretty decent but until now I haven't been inclined to write a review. One thing I do not like about this place is the lack of attention the "cashiers" pay to you when you walk in to pick up an order. The 'blonde girl' always seems to have an attitude or is solemn and un attentive. It makes me want to take my business else where. Why should I give you my money when you employee is as dry as a fortune cookie. In other words the food is fine but the blonde needs to get it together!

Use to order from there weekly. Was very easy and convienent. Now that the martial arts school opened up where blockbuster was, you cannot get a parking spot near the place. Wished the people at the martial arts school were more considerate. There is plenty of parking on the Publix side closer to the Martial Arts school. Thankfully my dry cleaners has a drive thru or else I'd have to go somewhere else too.

Food is good and service is pretty fast. One of the better fast food chains.
